How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 364 days in advance, so you can even re-book your stay for 2020 at checkout.
How do I reserve my stay?
You can book your stay on our website by clicking “Book Now” or “Check Rates” throughout the site or give us a call at (301) 223-7117!
When is the cheapest time to book?
Visit us in the spring or fall and enjoy reduced rates! Please keep in mind, activities are limited to weekends only during these times. Enjoy reduced rates during the week (Sunday—Thursday), all season long!
What are your Prime and Shoulder Season dates and does that impact the activities schedules?
Our Camp-Resort dates and availability of activities vary throughout the season and are as follows:
Shoulder (Pools Closed): April 12—May 9 & September 16—November 3 (Weekend Activities Only)
Shoulder (Pools Open): May 10—June 16 & September 3—September 15 (Weekend Activities Only)
Prime Season: June 17—September 2 (Daily Activities)
Shoulder (Pools Closed): November 4—December 1 (No Activities)
Hibernation: December 2—April 3 (See you in the spring!)
Can I tour the Camp-Resort?
We are happy to show off the Camp-Resort and we do allow tours. However, we cannot allow tours on holidays or busy weekends. Please call ahead, we would hate for you to waste a drive.

What are the office hours?
Our office hours vary depending on the season. During Prime Season, our office hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 9AM—8PM

Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable lock-in fee. If you opt out of the lock-in fee, you are guaranteed your selected campsite or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.
How many guest are included in my base rate?
Your nightly base rate includes 4 people (2 years and older). Our larger cabin units include additional occupants. To learn more about our cabins, visit our Ways to Stay page!
What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards?
Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations only. They may not be used towards Day Camp Passes, Camp Store purchases, or activities & amenities.
Is there a minimum night stay required?
Cabin types with a 2-night minimum stay required at all times: Camping Cabins, Cozy Cabins, Luxury and Luxury (Barrier Free) Cabins, 2-Bedroom Luxury Cabins, and Comfort Cottages.
Cabin types with a 2-night minimum stay required during shoulder season / 3-night minimum stay required during prime season: Bear-Themed Cottages, Premium Loft Cottages, Pine Forest Cabins, Great Escape Lodge, and Ranger’s Retreat.
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Yes we do, however, early check-in and late check-out are based on availability and fees are required. Arriving early does not guarantee that your cabin/campsite will be ready at that time. Late departure does not guarantee that you will be able to stay at the cabin/campsite until departing from the Camp-Resort. What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?
We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express at this time.
DO YOU HAVE RVS AVAILABLE TO RENT?
While we do not rent RVs ourselves, we do partner with RV Share, a peer-to-peer online RV rental service. Browse available RVs here. With the rental of an RV from RV Share, you will still need to reserve a site.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Yes! Pets are allowed at our RV sites, but not in our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings. There is a 2 pet max. Select cabins are pet-friendly for a nightly fee. One pet is $11/night (maximum of $44) and two pets are $16/night (maximum of $64). Guests or visitors may not bring pets with them. If they arrive with a pet, they may not be permitted to enter the Camp-Resort. Pet owners must keep their pet leashed at all times and are responsible for noise control and clean up. We reserve the right to remove hostile pets from the park. You can view our pet waiver here.

Can my friends come and visit?
Absolutely! Guests must pay a visitor fee and the number of people per site cannot exceed 8. Check out prices here.
Can I pitch a tent at my campsite with my RV?
Yes, you can! We allow 1 small, 2-man tent at every RV site (in addition to the RV). Unfortunately, we don’t allow tents at any of our cabin sites.
What is the extra car policy and how many can be at one site?
We allow 2 cars per site (both cabin and campsite). If you have any additional vehicles, you must purchase a $5 car pass and park in our overflow parking lot near the Camp-Resort entrance.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are 10pm—8am, Sunday through Thursday and 11pm—7am, Friday and Saturday. Any guest under 18 years of age must be at their campsite or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. This is a family Camp-Resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Can we bring pool toys?
Yes, you can! We allow pool toys at our Ranger Smith™ Pool.
Are fireworks allowed?
With the exception of sparklers, fireworks are not allowed in Jellystone Park™.
Where do I get firewood?
We have firewood available for purchase and delivery at our Camp Store and Registration Station! Campers are not allowed to bring their own firewood due to state regulations. This is to prevent the spread of invasive species causing deforestation. To preserve the beauty of our wooded Camp-Resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
We do, but the signal strength varies throughout the Camp-Resort. It’s best near the Registration Station and the Camp Store. We think this is the perfect time to disconnect and enjoy the great outdoors!
What is the speed limit?
Because the Camp-Resort is full of active families with children, the speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, or ATV to the Camp-Resort?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts, into Jellystone Park™. While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our Camp-Resort easy…and fun! If you have a disability, you can bring your own golf cart, however, you must provide documentation for insurance and have a handicap placard.
Can I smoke at the park?
Since we are a family Camp-Resort, smoking, including vaping, of any kind is not permitted in common and indoor areas, including but not limited to the pool area, playgrounds, pavilions, and all buildings. Smoking is not permitted inside cabins or on cabin porches, but is permitted at cabin sites. Smoking is permitted at campsites, but must be confined to your designated site. Smoking of any substances besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
