What's included in the resort fee?
Our daily resort fee helps us maintain and improve the variety of amenities and activities available for you to enjoy during your stay like mini golf, playground, and more. We want each guest to have a fun and memorable experience, and this small fee supports our efforts to continually improve and expand these offerings.
How far away is your Maryland campground from Baltimore?
Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near Baltimore, because our Camp-Resort is located only an hour and a half away. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near Baltimore, with 15+ accommodation types!
What makes you one of the best campgrounds in Maryland for families?
We’re known as one of the best family campgrounds in Maryland due to the countless activities and attractions we have to offer! If you’re looking for a Maryland campground with a water park and pools, you’ve come to the right place. Our Water Playground is great for kids and features various water blasters, cannons, and slides, while our spacious swimming pool is perfect for kids and adults alike! How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!
We are looking to experience Maryland glamping at its finest. What accommodations do you recommend?

Do you offer cabins for large groups?
Yes, we have great options for large groups looking to stay at our Maryland campground. For example, our Ranger's Retreat sleeps up to 16 people! It is also equipped with a full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and more! For more information about our cabin rentals, click here.
What happens if the dates I stay overlap in peak and non-peak season?
Promos will not apply to overlapping dates of peak vs non-peak season.
Are pets allowed?
Day Pass guests or visitors of guests staying at our Maryland campground are not permitted to bring their pet. They will not be allowed into the park if they arrive with their pet. Guests staying at our Camp-Resort are welcome to bring their furry friends with them. Our policies vary by site type. Learn all about our pet policy on our Rules & Policies page.
Where do I get firewood at your Maryland campground?
We have firewood available for purchase and delivery at our Ranger Station and Registration Station! A bin of firewood is $13.50. Campers are not allowed to bring their own firewood due to state regulations. This is to prevent the spread of invasive species causing deforestation. To preserve the beauty of our wooded Camp-Resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
Where can I find the map of your East Coast campground?
Yes! Pets are allowed at our RV sites, but not in our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings. Pets are also allowed at pet-friendly cabins, so please request at time of booking. For 1 pet, there is a flat fee of $50. For 2 pets, there is a flat fee of $75. Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pets and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control. For the safety of our guests, pets must be up to date on vaccinations. We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the park. View our Pet Waiver here.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. Becasue we're one of the best family campgrounds in Maryland, please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin by paying our applicable lock-in fee. If you opt out of the lock-in fee, you are guaranteed your selected campsite or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.
When is the cheapest time to book?
Visit us in the spring or fall and enjoy reduced rates! Please keep in mind that activities are limited to weekends only during these times. Enjoy reduced rates during the week (Sunday-Thursday) all season long!
Do you offer any discounts?
We do! We offer great deals all season! You can also follow us on Facebook to stay up-to-date on any seasonal deals and specials we’re offering. We do not accept AAA, Good Sams Club, or any others.
What are the office hours?

Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Yes we do. We offer early and extended access for a fee. Early access (before check-in time) does not guarantee site/cabin will be ready or available at time of arrival.
CAMPSITES:
Check-in time is 3pm. We do have an early access option beginning at 11am, but it is available only if site is vacant (i.e. nobody in the site before you). It also involves a fee based on the time of check-in.
Check-out time is 1pm. Late check-out (if available) is 6pm for $10 during non-peak season and $25 during peak season to stay in the park until 6pm. Subject to availability.
CABINS:

How many guests are included in my base rate?
Your nightly base rate includes 4 people (4 years and older). Our larger cabin units include additional occupants. Additional Person Fee: Non Peak: $22 /overnight, $66 /4-7 Nights Peak & Holiday: $36 /overnight, $108 /4-7 Nights Please note, campsites are limited to 8 people. What do I need to do to prepare for my arrival?

How do I make changes/add on items to my current reservation?
If you are needing to make changes or add something to your reservation, such as a golf cart, please use the contact us link to send us a message. You may also give us a call during office hours and we can help over the phone as well. Please be ready with your confirmation number.
Do you offer seasonal sites?
We do not, but some of our sister campgrounds do! Check out our other campgrounds.
When is check-in/out time?
Cabins: 4pm/11am Campsites: 3pm/1pm
Do you offer linen rentals?
Yes! For your convenience, we offer linen rentals. They include: a pillow, sheets, blanket, towels, and wash cloths. For more information or to reserve your linens, check out our Add-Ons page.
How do I reserve my stay at your Maryland camping resort?

Can my friends come and visit?
Absolutely! Guests must pay a visitor fee and the number of people per site cannot exceed 8. Please call for pricing.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are 10pm – 8am, Sunday through Thursday and 11pm – 8am, Friday and Saturday. Any guest under 18 years of age must be at their campsite or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
What is the speed limit?
Because we're one of the best family campgrounds in Maryland, our park is full of active families with children. The speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is ridiculous. However, if you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available throughout our Maryland campground but signal strength varies. We cannot guarantee that satellites will work in our Camp-Resort.
Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, or ATV to your Marlyand campground?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts, into Jellystone Park™. While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our East Coast campground easy…and fun! If you have a disability, you can bring your own golf cart, however, you must provide documentation for insurance and have a handicap placard.
Can I pitch a tent at my campsite with my RV?
Yes, you can! We allow 1 small, 2-man tent at every RV site (in addition to the RV). Unfortunately, we don’t allow tents at any of our cabin sites.
Can we bring pool toys?
Yes, you can! We allow pool toys at our Ranger Smith™ Pool.
Can I smoke at the Camp-Resort?
Since we are one of the best campgrounds in Maryland for families, smoking, including vaping, of any kind is not permitted in common and indoor areas, including but not limited to the pool area, playgrounds, pavilions, and all buildings. Smoking is not permitted inside cabins or on cabin porches, but is permitted at cabin sites. Smoking is permitted at campsites, but must be confined to your designated site. Smoking of any substances besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
What is the extra car policy and how many can be at one site?
We allow 2 cars per site (both cabin and campsite). If you have any additional vehicles, you must purchase a $5 car pass and park in our overflow parking lot near the Camp-Resort entrance.
Are fireworks allowed?
With the exception of sparklers, fireworks are not allowed in Jellystone Park™.
What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards?
Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations only. They may not be used towards Day Camp Passes, store purchases, or activities & attractions.
Do you offer price matching on camping resevrations?
No, we do not offer price matching for campground reservations. Our pricing is carefully determined to provide fair value for the amenities and services included in the price of a stay. What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?
We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express at this time.
Can I tour your East Coast campground?
We are happy to show off our Maryland campground and we do allow tours. However, we cannot allow tours on holidays or busy weekends. Please call ahead, we would hate for you to waste a drive.
Where can I find information about themed events at your Maryland camping resort?
Good question! Our Maryland campground has a jam-packed calendar of themed weeks and weekends from March to November. You can find a list of our upcoming themed events here.

How do I check-in after the Reservation Station has closed?
If checking in after the Reservation Station has closed, your site information will be in an envelope by the last name in a black mailbox labeled "registered guests" under the lit-up "late night registration information" sign. All other open sites will be in another mailbox labeled "overnight guests" with a map and information on the price. If you need assistance after hours finding this info or your site, please call the park at 301-223-7117 and press 3 for an in-park emergency.

Do you offer day passes?
We sure do! Day Camp Passes are available during peak season. You can learn all about them, including the cost on our Park Pass page.
